Application:
Cold cleaner for adhesive residues, especially for not fully cured PUR prepolymer adhesives. Can also be used as hot cleaner at temperatures above 60 – 70 °C in a cleaning bath, to remove fully cured PUR hot melt adhesives from metal machine parts.
Characteristics / Directions for Use:
The PUR cleaner Jowat® 402.38 dissolves plastics and rubber gaskets and is therefore only for cleaning metal items and parts. Jowat® 402.38 can be recycled. To avoid the formation of odors, please extract all vapors. Avoid all contact of hot items and electrical connections with the cleaner. Customer trials are required. Our Application Technology Department and our Application Specialists will provide technical data to assist you in your choice of an appropriate product for your requirements. Please observe the information in the section “Remarks.”
Storage:
The product should remain stored in properly closed original containers, dry and cool (15 – 25 °C). For best-before date, please see container label. After the elapse of the best-before date, it is essential that you again verify that the product is fit for your intended application.
